Did you hear about Canada’s Volunteer Awards’ (CVA) 2023 recipients? Rahul Singh has combined frontline experience with humanitarian work to provide efficient disaster relief operations for over 25 years through the foundation he created. Angela Woodford has offered support to her community for over 60 years. Justin Langan serves on several youth councils and committees and represents Métis youth. Wow! Canada’s Volunteer Awards is a comprehensive volunteer recognition program. Award recipients can choose a not-for-profit organization to receive a $5,000 (regional award) or $10,000 (national award) grant. Recipients are also invited to participate in a facilitated discussion with their fellow recipients regarding their experiences and best practices. This is a fantastic opportunity for making connections with like-minded people and organizations.
