How to Build an Enhanced Branded Donor Experience

CanadaHelps has launched an update to improve and modernize email templates, and add customization options for charities to match their brand. 

Your brand colours, more specifically the colours you choose for your Donate Button on your Customizable Donation Forms, will now carry forward into your email templates as well, providing a more cohesive, branded experience for your donors.

So the question is, does your Donation Button match your brand?

If yes, your emails match too!

Your thank you emails already include your logo and, if added, a custom thank you message at the top of the email. The updated design can shine more light on your brand, applying your button colour to the footer and the shaded area displaying confirmation details of the donation as shown below.

If no, it's easy to level up your Customizable Donation Forms and emails

Follow these with these simple steps:

Log in to your CanadaHelps Charity account, head over to the Donation Forms tab and follow the simple step-by-step guide, written instructions are also below.

Here are the instructions:

1. Navigate to the Donation Forms tab of your CanadaHelps Charity account.
2. Find the form you are wanting to change the brand colours of.
3. Click the "Edit" icon
4. Click on the "Form Branding" option.
5. Click on the Colour and Style tab
6. Find the "Buttons and Links" colour. This is the colour you need to set and will appear in your Donate button on your form as well as in your thank you emails.
7. Select the colour you wish to use to match your brand.
8. Select "Save" and your brand colours will now appear where intended.

That's it! A really simple but very impactful edit to ensure your Customizable Donation Forms and thank you emails maintain a consistent representation of your brand!
