NOW ON DEMAND: Watch the Recording of our 20th Anniversary Event!

March 15, 2021

For 20 years, CanadaHelps has remained committed to supporting and advancing Canada’s charitable sector. Thousands of charities rely on our technology to raise critical funds to support their mission and millions of Canadians have connected to their favourite charities and causes through CanadaHelps.

To mark this milestone, we hosted a virtual event on March 11th to celebrate 20 years in Canada’s charitable sector. Viewed live in communities across the country, you can now watch the on demand recording of the event below. On behalf of the team at CanadaHelps, we thank all those who joined us in celebrating this momentous event. We look forward to the next 20 years!

WATCH NOW: 20th Anniversary Video Series

Premiered during our live event, watch our video series produced in honour of our 20th anniversary to celebrate Canadian charities. These charities share a connection to the environment—one of the most pressing issues of our time and impacts all of our lives and everything we do. Watch these short, 3 to 5-minute videos to see how these charities make a difference every day and impact animals, food security, land use, mental health, culture, and so much more.

KEYNOTE: Paul Taylor, Executive Director of FoodShare Toronto

Watch Paul discuss the growing food insecurity crisis in Canada, and how it’s informed by anti-Indigeneity, anti-Black racism, and land use policies rooted in colonialism and exploitative capitalism. Paul shares ways we can all participate in the dismantling of structural inequalities that cause and perpetuate food insecurity and poverty.
